Open meeting with Sally Ablett.

We were all given a fat eighth of fabric to make something of our choice.

Yes,It was a really good meeting. There are 25 in our group that meet once a month. There is so much talent,even though alot of people did not particularly like the fabric we were given,they all came up with great ideas. Cushions, bags, boxes, wall hangings,book covers etc.
We also had a good turn out of visitors so it was a very successful meeting!

I have just joined a quilting group and am so glad I did. The ladies at Log Cbin Quilters in Langford are so welcoming. That's every other Thursday evening taken care of for the foreseeable.

I don't go to any evening groups but I go to 2 a week, each one different(as they are fortnightly groups) then Denes quilters which is once a month,but this one is an all day one where we take our lunch along too, so get a nice lot of work and nattering done!!!! It is surprising what you can learn from others.I hope you continue to enjoy your group Judi
